First Internship: My first internship was at a casting agency called "Avalon Artist Group" in Los Angeles, CA in the fall of 2013. I throughly enjoyed interning there and made a lot of connections. My responsibilities included, but were not limited to calling the actors to confirm them for auditions and logging the auditions in the computer database as well as filing paperwork. This internship taught me to multitask, teamwork and to use programs that I never used before, as well as improved my skill in programs which I was familiar with and had used before.
Second Internship: My second internship was with voice over actress Jeannie Elais. I was basically her personal assistant and loved every minute of it and learned so much with our one-on-one time! I got to know Jeannie really well and was able to help her organize her office space so it was more efficient. She teaches a lot of voice over classes and seminars both locally and nationally and needs to have items readily available which I helped her with. I got to attend professional voice over recordings and met show creators and sound designers. It was an excellent and productive experience and I will take these skills with me into the job force.
